What is displayed on the Transearch home page is determined by your system configuration and Transearch security profile.
The default view provides a snapshot of key information relevant to your account and location.
My Location
View items currently recorded at your location.
My List
Access items saved to your web list.
My Cart
Review items currently in your cart.
My Requests
Monitor outstanding requests and actions.
Items displayed within these panels can be accessed directly by selecting the relevant hyperlinks. The panels can be expanded to display more records and additional information by clicking the panel title.
To navigate Transearch, use the menu located at the top of the screen. Available options depend on your system configuration and security profile.
On smaller screens or mobile devices, use the menu icon to expand
the navigation menu.

Basic keyword search across records
hello world → finds both words
Removes unwanted results using -
-box → excludes “box”
Matches words starting with text
mar* → marketing, market, marble
Expands search using related words
?run → run, jog
Finds different forms of the same word
+call → call, calls, calling, called
System-wide Search Mode
Bypasses Full-Text indexing to search all available data fields
By default Transearch uses Full-Text Search for fast indexed results.
Global Search extends this by scanning beyond the indexed structure when you prefix your query with *.
Wildcard Rules
Matches any number of characters
cust* → customer, custom, custody
Matches a single character
c?t → cat, cut, cot
When to use Global Search
When you only know part of a reference
Older records not fully indexed
When exact terms don’t return results
It is important to sign out of Transearch when you have finished using the system.
Failure to sign out correctly may result in your account being temporarily disabled.
